Turkish employers have the "most optimistic" hiring plan for the last quarter of 2014 compared to 24 countries in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, according to a global employment survey.
About 250 out of 1,000 Turkish employers surveyed by human resource company Manpower said they were looking to increase staffing levels over the last three months of the year, while about 100 forecast a decline.
The highest recruitment is expected to be in manufacturing and the medicine sector, according to the survey.
The survey results on Wednesday came after Turkish statistical body, Turkstat, disclosed the Turkish unemployment rate had fallen in May this year to 8.8 percent from a peak of 10.2 percent in February - maintaining a consistent downward rate for the fourth consecutive month.
The country's ruling AK Party government is seeking to shrink the unemployment rate to 5 percent through strengthening relations between education and employment and developing social welfare insurance.
