An F-16 fighter aircraft belonging to the Turkish Air Force has crashed on landing in the south-east of the country.
The jet, part of the 2nd Air Force Command based in the southeastern province of Diyarbakir, crashed Tuesday, Deputy Governor Ahmet Gunaydin told The Anadolu Agency.
He said the plane's engine caught fire during landing and both crew ejected.
The Turkish General Staff said the exact cause of the accident was yet to be known and the two flyers were in good health condition.
All military and civilian flights in the area have been suspended.
