The F-4 fighter jet took off from Malatya's Erhaç Air Base on Monday for training and crashed in a field in the Kangal district, five kilometers away from residential buildings.

Those who heard the loud blast made by the crash rushed to the scene of the incident and reported the accident. Witnesses initially helped the pilots and they were later taken to Kangal State Hospital.
