Baku, Azerbaijan, April 21
By Rufiz Hafizoglu - Trend:
A Turkish historical organization will discuss the events of 1915 with historians at the conference "The First World War and the Armenians" to be held in April 24-25 in the city of Van, Turkey.
The conference will discuss the manslaughter of Van's population by Armenian gangs, according to the report of Turkish Anadolu news agency.
Armenia and the Armenian lobby claim that the predecessor of modern Turkey, the Ottoman Empire allegedly carried out "genocide" against the Armenians living in Anadolu in 1915. Armenians have achieved recognition of the "genocide" by the parliaments of several countries.
It is expected that with regard to the anniversary of the "genocide" in April the Armenian lobby will strengthen its activities in the world's parliaments, particularly in the U.S. Congress.
