After completing his program within the sidelines of G20 summit in Australia, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu moved to Philippines on Monday to pay an official visit at the invitation of Philipino President Benigno Aquino.
Davutoğlu and accompanying delegation were welcomed with an official ceremony in the capital city of Manila by President Aquino. Following the welcoming ceremony guests watched a folk dance performance and Turkish Premier signed the honor book.
Turkish and Philipino leaders had a tête-à-tête and chaired an inter-delegation meeting at Malacana Palace in Manila. Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan, Minister of Finance Mehmet Şimşek and other Turkish officials accompanied Davutoğlu during the meeting.
