Turkish Stock Exchange Flat At Friday Open

Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Friday at 10,276.76 points, up 0.08%, or 8.18 points, from the previous close.

On Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index rose 0.20% to close at 10,268.58 points, with a daily trading volume of 95 billion liras ($2.95 billion).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 32.2696 as of 09.57 a.m. local time (0657GMT), the euro/lira exchange rate stood at 34.8054, while a British pound traded for 40.4603 liras.

Brent crude oil was selling for around $84.51 per barrel, while the price of an ounce of gold was $2,374.45. -
