Türkiye's BIST 100 Index Closes Monday In Red

Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Monday at 10,267.09 points, down 0.10% from the previous close.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 lost 9.79 points from Friday's record closing high of 10,276.88 points.

The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 8.8 trillion liras ($273 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of 49 billion liras ($1.53 billion).

The price of an ounce of gold was $2,331.70 while Brent crude oil sold for around $83.40 per barrel as of 6.14 p.m. local time (1514GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was at 32.2845, the euro/lira exchange rate was at 34.8096, and the British pound traded at 40.5929 liras. -
