Türkiye's BIST 100 Up At Thursday Close

Türkiye's benchmark stock index closed Thursday at 10,268.58 points, rising 0.20% from the previous close.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 gained 20.83 points from Wednesday's close of 10,247.75 points.

The total market value of BIST 100 was around 8.8 trillion liras ($274 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of 95 billion liras ($2.95 billion).

The price of an ounce of gold was $2,339.00, while Brent crude oil sold for around $83.55 per barrel as of 6.44 p.m. local time (1544GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 32.2425, the euro/lira exchange rate 34.7431, and the British pound traded at 40.3368 liras. -
