Two young girls went to the house of 35-year-old Adnan B., with whom they had previously had legal issues in Burdur, and stabbed his wife in the throat and abdomen, killing her. The two suspects were quickly apprehended and taken into custody.
In Burdur, a dispute between two young girls and a woman at her doorstep ended in bloodshed. In the incident that turned into a fight, a 35-year-old woman was stabbed in the throat and abdomen and lost her life. The two suspects who fled the scene were quickly captured and taken into custody.
The incident occurred around 21:00 in a site located on 14036 Street in the central Bağlar neighborhood. According to the information obtained, Seray Ö. (22) went to the house of Adnan B. (35), with whom she had previously had legal issues, along with her friend Tülay A. (22). While Seray Ö. waited in front of the site, Tülay A. went up to the apartment on the 1st floor and started arguing with Adnan B.'s wife, Özge Bedir (35), for an unknown reason.
FOUND IN A BLOODSTAINED CORRIDOR
As the argument quickly escalated into a fight, during the scuffle, Tülay A. stabbed Özge Bedir in the throat and abdomen, seriously injuring her. The two suspects fled the scene. Upon neighbors' notification, fire, medical, and police teams were dispatched to the area. After the fire department opened the door, Özge Bedir was found in a bloodstained corridor of the house.
2 WOMEN TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
In the examination conducted by the medical teams, it was determined that Bedir had lost her life. Shortly after, police teams captured the suspects Tülay A. and Seray Ö. on Yeni Mahalle Işıldak Street. Tülay A., who was injured on her hand during the scuffle, was taken to Burdur State Hospital for treatment. After her treatment, Tülay A. and her friend Seray Ö. were taken into custody.
INVESTIGATION INITIATED
Özge Bedir's body was taken to the Burdur State Hospital morgue for autopsy after the prosecutor and crime scene investigation teams completed their work. Adnan B., who received the news of his wife's death and was waiting for the work at the house to finish, fainted in the police vehicle. While Adnan B. was taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment, relatives of Bedir, who were present at the scene, suffered a nervous breakdown. It was learned that Özge Bedir was a mother of two children, aged 2 months and 5 years. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
