A group of 30 Syrian migrants were unexpectedly found on a boat near the southwestern coast of Turkey, during the Turkish Coast Guard's search for 25 migrants, who went missing earlier Tuesday after a boat and a dinghy sank in the same region.
The unexpectedly rescued group of Syrians was taken to a local hospital for health checks, the Turkish Coast Guard said.
While on Tueday, at least one person died and a total of 20 people were rescued after a boat and a dinghy sank in the Aegean Sea, said statements made by the governorship of Aydin.
At least 25 migrants are still reported to be missing and five coast guard boats, one coast guard search plane and one search-and-rescue helicopter are still deployed to look for them, according to the Governor's office of Aydin province - Ankara
