Turkish Air Force killed 25 PKK terrorists in separate airstrikes in southeastern Sirnak province within the last 24 hours, the military announced on Thursday.
According to the Turkish General Staff, eight terrorists were killed in an airstrike in the province's northern Bestler-Dereler region on Thursday.
Earlier, a terrorist was killed and another was captured in the same region.
In another attack, three other PKK terrorists were killed in the area.
On Wednesday, 13 more terrorists were killed in an airstrike, again in the same region.
More than 1,200 people, including security force personnel and civilians, have lost their lives since the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S., and the EU -- resumed its decades-old armed campaign in July 2015. -
