Uzbek Woman Stabbed To Death At İstanbul Home

A 50-year-old Uzbek national living in İstanbul’s Fatih district was stabbed by unknown assailants on early Saturday.

The incident took plave in Molla Gürani neighborhood at around 6 a.m. Reportedly, the woman named Sanem İpek began to argue with a group of men who came to her home. Soon, the argument turned into a fight. Over the tip-offs by the neighbors, police units were dispatched to the scene. The woman was found dead stabbed in the head.

The body of İpek was taken to the Council of Forensic Medicine (ATK) for an autopsy. Police launched a search to find the escaping assailants.
