Following the passing of the legendary Turkish classical music artist Muazzez Abacı in the United States on November 12, 2025, claims regarding her wealth have come to the forefront. It has been alleged that Abacı, who reportedly had a property portfolio worth millions of lira, including real estate in Şişli, Kuzguncuk, and Tuzla, had a fortune that reached 50 billion lira. A statement on the matter was made by the artist's close friend, Sacit Aslan.

The unforgettable name of Turkish classical music, Muazzez Abacı, has drawn attention with the wealth claims that emerged after her passing. It has been suggested that the artist, who has been living in America for a long time, owns a villa in Tuzla, apartments in Kuzguncuk and Şişli, as well as a substantial amount of cash in the bank, a car, and an SUV. Some sources claimed that Abacı's total assets amount to approximately 50 billion lira.

The clearest response to these speculations came from the artist's close circle. Sacit Aslan, the former owner of Maksim Gazinosu and a close friend of Muazzez Abacı, joined the program "Neler Oluyor Hayatta" broadcasted on Kanal D via phone to clarify the claims.

"IMPOSSIBLE"

Aslan stated that Abacı had only one daughter and used the following expressions: "I met Muazzez Abacı in 1975. Our friendship continued until her passing. She did not have an active stage life in the last 5-6 years. The figures mentioned are products of imagination. They are talking about 1 billion 250 million dollars. Earning such money in this profession is impossible."
