''NODDING MANAGEMENT''
Safi, in a statement to AA reporter regarding the extraordinary general assembly to be held at the club on Sunday, September 21, said, "The rival candidates talk about us as the 'nodding management.' Our president manages Fenerbahçe very democratically with 20 managers around him. Fenerbahçe is managed with the results that come out of consultations in an environment where everyone expresses their opinion. Of course, the president listens to everyone and makes his own decision, but this is a club that is always presented as being managed by democracy, where consultations are held and ideas are listened to. Therefore, Fenerbahçe cannot and will not be managed in such a way where we are. There cannot be the opposite where Ali Koç is." he said.
''A CANDIDATE WITH NO PROJECT WILL ONLY SAY E-TRIBUNE''
Safi pointed out that one of the candidates withdrew during the congress process, stating that two candidates would go to the election.
Stating that there is a Fenerbahçe that has achieved financial independence and success in all branches outside of football, Safi said, "On the other hand, there is a candidate who says, 'I will continue the current squads.' The only thing he says throughout the entire campaign period is to change the e-tribune in the football stadium. The only thing a candidate with no projects can say is to change the system of the e-tribune in some way. Either he doesn't know football or he has no idea about world football. He should go and take a look at how stadiums are managed around the world." he said.
''WE ONLY OWE CHAMPIONSHIP TO FENERBAHÇE''
Evaluating the congress process, Hakan Safi said, "Fenerbahçe is always a place for those who give their heart, money, and effort. It is a place to give, not to take. Mr. Ali and his friends have done many things for the Fenerbahçe club. None of us have a thousand lira to take from the club. We only owe a championship to Fenerbahçe." he stated.
Safi expressed that they expect 48 thousand Fenerbahçe delegates to go to the polls to vote this weekend, stating that whoever comes out of the ballot box will be the president of Fenerbahçe.
