The 40-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo, who is spending the final years of his career, may purchase a team after retiring. Football finance expert Rob Wilson has advised the Portuguese star to buy Cheltenham Town, a team in England's fourth division (EFL League Two). Wilson also believes that Ronaldo will make a strategic investment in Manchester United.
The world-famous footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, who spent the final part of his career at the Saudi Arabian team Al-Nassr, could write his name among the players who buy a team after retiring. The 40-year-old star received an interesting investment advice regarding this matter.
"HE MAY MAKE A STRATEGIC INVESTMENT IN MANCHESTER UNITED"
Football-finance expert Rob Wilson stated in an interview with the British press, "I would be surprised if Cristiano Ronaldo does not invest in an English football team. I think he will try to make a strategic investment in a club like Manchester United or somehow become a minority owner."
HE SUGGESTED BUYING A 4TH LEAGUE TEAM
Wilson recommended that Ronaldo buy Cheltenham Town, one of the teams in England's 4th League (EFL League Two), saying, "Cheltenham Town has great financial fundamentals and is an asset that is largely undervalued. Therefore, if an investor wants to look at a football club, there is nothing worse than not looking at Cheltenham Town Football Club because this club is really well positioned on the list of the most attractive football assets."
"A POCKET MONEY FOR HIM"
Wilson also stated, "The reality for Musk or Ronaldo is that, with the utmost respect, for them this is pocket money because they are very wealthy. They can create a transformative impact on the club and provide significant benefits."
