Actor Hugh Jackman has added two additional appearances to his upcoming İstanbul stint at the Zorlu Center PSM next spring, the performing arts center announced this week.

The Australian actor, equally famous for his onstage work as for his diverse big screen career ranging from playing superheroes to romantic leads, is bringing his show “An Evening with Hugh Jackman” to İstanbul for the first time in March.

Tickets for Jackman's İstanbul outing, originally planned as a two-night stint on March 17 and 18, are already on sale on Zorlu Center PSM's website. Due to huge popular demand, two more İstanbul dates on March 19 and 20 have been added to Jackman's İstanbul stint and tickets for those shows will be made available as of Dec. 25.

Tony Award-winning Jackman combines song and dance and is accompanied by a 27-piece orchestra in the show, billed by the Zorlu Center PSM as a “concert that also contains improvisations.”

The show features various segments, including tributes to classic movie musicals like “Singin' in the Rain” and “Guys and Dolls,” as well as odes to Australia's Aborigine culture and Peter Allen, the late Australian singer-songwriter Jackman portrayed in the musical “The Boy From Oz,” for which he earned a Tony in his Broadway debut in 2004."
