Twelve people died in Syrian regime's air attacks into northern Idlib province Monday, local human rights groups said.
Many others were injured in Syrian regime's attacks in armed opposition controlled areas in Idlib province, Syrian Network of Human Rights said.
The regime also shelled Douma and East Ghouta neighborhoods in Damascus with fighter jets after Free Syrian Army members destroyed a building used as military headquarters in Damascus's Jobar by the regime, the rights group said.
Additionally, the regime shelled a field hospital in southern Daraa province with barrel bombs, according to a statement from the Local Coordination Committees (LCC) in Syria.
All hospital equipment became inoperable due to the attack, the committee said.
The death toll in August for Syria hit 2,591, of which 1,728 were civilians from regime attacks, a report from Syrian Network of Human Rights said.
