KILLED HIS MOTHER AND REPORTED TO THE POLICE
According to the information obtained, the incident occurred at night in the Fatih neighborhood of Saimbeyli district. Allegedly, 16-year-old D.E. stabbed his mother, Servet Tekir, at home for an unknown reason. After the incident, the suspect called the 112 Emergency Call Center and reported that he had killed his mother.
Upon the report, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. It was learned that D.E., who greeted the police teams at the door, surrendered by saying, "I killed my mother." In the examination by the medical teams, it was determined that Servet Tekir died as a result of the knife blows she received. After the prosecutor's investigation, Tekir's body was taken to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy.
YOUNGER SIBLING DID NOT HEAR ANY SOUND
It was learned that the 9-year-old sibling N.B.E., who was at home during the incident, stated in his testimony that he slept in the same living room with his mother that night, did not hear any fighting or shouting sounds, and became aware of the incident when he saw the police teams in the morning.
While D.E., who was taken into custody, was taken to the police station for processing, a comprehensive investigation into the incident was launched.
