Four tankers loaded with LPG exploded one after another in Mexico's Puebla state, turning into a fireball. After the explosions, approximately 2,000 people were evacuated from hospitals, homes, and schools in the area, and 3 people were injured. An investigation into the cause of the incident has been launched.
Great panic occurred in a warehouse in the Mexican state of Puebla. Around 10:00 local time, four tankers carrying liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) exploded one after another.
Following the explosions, massive flames rose in the area, and the sky was covered with thick black smoke. Numerous firefighting and emergency response teams were dispatched to the scene.
2,000 PEOPLE EVACUATED
Due to the risk of explosion, approximately 2,000 people in hospitals, homes, and schools around the warehouse were evacuated to safe zones. Officials stated that there were no casualties, but three people were injured and taken to the hospital.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED
An investigation into the cause of the explosion has been initiated, while local media reported claims that the warehouse was used for storing and transporting stolen gas. Officials stated that the incident is being thoroughly investigated from all angles.
