Starting his football career in the youth academy of Xerez in 1998, Daniel Güiza became the top scorer in Spain's La Liga while playing for Mallorca. In 2008, he transferred to Fenerbahçe for a record fee of 14 million euros. Wearing the yellow-navy jersey, the striker nicknamed "Archer" played 98 matches, scoring 35 goals and providing 19 assists. After leaving Turkey, he traveled the world like a globetrotter. Throughout his career, he has played for teams such as Barcelona B, Getafe, Recreativo, Johor DT (Malaysia), Cerro Porteno (Paraguay), as well as recent years in Spanish lower divisions with Sanluqueno, UD Algaida, CD Rota, UD Rotena, and Jerez Industrial.
