Search efforts continue for the fifth day for a person who disappeared after entering the sea to spearfish in the Bozcaada district of Canakkale.
In a statement from the Governorship, it was stated that search efforts continue for Ugur Savas, who was reported missing after entering the sea off Sulubahce on August 12.
PROFESSIONAL FIELD SCANNING DEVICES ARE IN THE REGION
The statement noted that search activities are being carried out uninterruptedly under the coordination of the Coast Guard West Marmara Group Command, with the participation of AFAD, Gendarmerie, Gendarmerie Commando Unit, and Marine Police teams.
It was also recorded that teams from the Zonguldak Regional Directorate of Forestry joined the search efforts today with a professional 3D underground imaging and field scanning system.
