15-year-old Mahir Buğra Karagön, who lost his life due to electric shock while working at a bakery where he was interning in Hatay, was laid to rest after his funeral prayer.

15-year-old Mahir Buğra Karagön, who lost his life due to electric shock while working at a pastry shop where he was interning in Hatay, was laid to rest after his funeral prayer. The incident occurred on May 1st at a pastry shop in Modernevler neighborhood of İskenderun district. Mahir Buğra Karagön, a 10th-grade student at İskenderun Vocational Education Center (MESEM) in the Food and Beverage Services department, was severely injured by electric shock while working at the workplace. After those at the workplace reported the situation to the Emergency Call Center, Karagön was taken to the hospital in critical condition. 

PASTRY SHOP OWNER TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

Despite all interventions at the hospital, Karagön passed away. Karagön, who died from the electric shock, was laid to rest after his funeral prayer held at Çankaya cemetery in İskenderun district. Karagön's family experienced difficult moments at the funeral. It was learned that the pastry shop owner was taken into custody after the incident.
