A 16-year-old suspect has been arrested on the allegation of raping a woman near a church cemetery in west London. Police were dispatched to the scene following a report of a woman in her 20s being raped in the Church Hill area of Harrow-on-the-Hill around 11:45 PM on Saturday night. The next day, a police cordon was established at St Mary's Church cemetery. The victim is currently receiving specialist support. The Metropolitan Police Service arrested a youth believed to be 16 years old on Monday. The suspect has been charged with rape, kidnapping, and two counts of attempted robbery. The suspect will appear before a judge at Willesden Magistrates' Court today for a remand hearing. Detective Sergeant Phil Inman made the following statement regarding the incident: "We are aware that this incident will cause significant concern and anxiety in the area, particularly among women and girls. We would like to clarify that we are not seeking any other suspects in connection with this investigation."
