A sensational claim has been made about Galatasaray's Russian star Aleksey Batrakov. It has been suggested that the yellow-reds could sell their young star for twice the amount they paid to transfer him, namely 50 million Euros.
Russian footballer Aleksey Batrakov, whom Galatasaray added to its squad during the summer transfer window, continues to draw attention with his performances, especially in the Champions League. Following the young star's rising form, a striking claim came from the Russian press.
''AROUND 50 MILLION EUROS...''
Russian journalist Alexander Yershov, speaking to the Turkish press, praised Batrakov's potential. Arguing that Galatasaray could sell the Russian player for twice the fee it paid, Yershov said, "I am sure Galatasaray can sell Batrakov for around 50 million Euros. Playing alongside top-level stars and being on the Champions League stage will take him much further."

Touching on Batrakov's departure process from Lokomotiv Moscow, the Russian journalist noted that Lokomotiv was experiencing financial difficulties. Reminding that Galatasaray paid a transfer fee of 25 million Euros for this transfer, Yershov said, "Lokomotiv would never have let the player go below this figure. In order for the transfer to take place, Batrakov's agents also waived their commission."
