In the Çiftlikköy district of Yalova, female entrepreneur Canan Cerit, who had a mushroom production facility, was first tied up with a pig tie by foreign workers at her home and then brutally killed by strangulation. According to the information received, the relatives of Canan Cerit (55), who resided on the second floor of a building located on 5008 Street in the Sultaniye neighborhood of Çiftlikköy, reported the situation to the police after they could not reach her. It was learned that the woman found dead had been tied up with a pig tie on her hands and feet.

The murder is estimated to have occurred early yesterday morning. Additionally, there are rumors that the murder suspects fled the area after the incident and escaped abroad. It is also claimed that the suspects took valuable belongings and money belonging to the woman.
