A child who was allegedly accidentally shot by his cousin with a shotgun in Ankara has died.

In the Çubuk district of Ankara, a 12-year-old cousin, who was allegedly accidentally shot by a 17-year-old during a hunting trip, lost his life. According to reports, the pellets from M.A's gun, who was hunting in a mountainous area about 7 kilometers away from Küçükali Neighborhood, hit his cousin Z.Y.A in the head.

Upon the notification of the surrounding people, a medical team was dispatched to the area. The child, who was taken to Halil Şıvgın Çubuk State Hospital, could not be saved despite intervention. The child's body was sent to the Ankara Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy.

It was learned that M.A has been detained.
