The incident came to light when a customer's payment did not match the accounting records. Suspicious, the clinic management reviewed the security camera footage retrospectively. The review revealed that the employee R.Ç. secretly took money from the cash register and put it in her bag.

According to the allegations, the suspect employee admitted in her first meeting with the workplace owner that she committed the crime "due to her need." However, after the incident was referred to judicial authorities, she denied the accusations in her official statement.
