The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into allegations of corruption at the Büyükçekmece Municipality. In the investigation, documents for all projects that received construction permits between January 1, 2015, and May 7, 2025, have been requested.

An investigation has been initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the allegation of corruption at the Büyükçekmece Municipality.

As part of the investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was requested that the Büyükçekmece Municipality prepare and submit to the police a list of all projects for which construction permits were issued in the district between January 1, 2015, and May 7, 2025, along with information about the companies or individuals who carried out the projects, which projects received occupancy permits, and details about the constructions that were carried out.
