FOUND A BUYER FOR 300,000 TL

Breeder Can Sönmez, who came from Muş to Kırşehir for animal sales, said he sold his pasture-raised cow for 300,000 TL. Stating that his animals are from the highlands, Sönmez said: "Our animals are highland products. We sold our cow weighing 830 kilograms for 300,000 TL. If we went to a car dealership, we could buy a car. Compared to last year, this year is better." Breeder Asım Bıyıklı, who brought his animal to the livestock market to get the return on his approximately 2 years of labor, stated that they carefully cared for their animals for a long time. Bıyıklı said: "We fed and cared for our animals for 2 years. The animals stayed on pasture for 6-7 months, and the remaining period was spent in dry feeding. We are asking 275,000 TL for our animal."

"PEOPLE TURNED TO CATTLE"

General Secretary of the Livestock Market, Battal Çelik, drew attention to the activity in the market and stated that approximately 60 percent of the cattle were sold. Noting that citizens have turned to cattle, Çelik said: "People have turned to cattle. Groups of 6-7 people are buying animals jointly."
