The Atatürkist Thought Association has filed a criminal complaint against Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin and has also filed a lawsuit with the Council of State requesting the suspension and cancellation of the "Turkey Century Education Model" education program, which was approved by him. Meanwhile, there are rumors in the corridors that Minister Tekin will resign from his position.

The Atatürkist Thought Association (ADD) filed a criminal complaint against Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin with its 340 branches. In a written statement issued by the ADD, it was stated that a lawsuit was filed with the Council of State for the cancellation of the "Turkey Century Education Model" program.



The 340 branches of the Atatürkist Thought Association have taken action against the "Turkey Century Education Model" program introduced by Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin and approved on 27.06.2024. The ADD branches filed a criminal complaint against Minister Tekin and filed a lawsuit with the Council of State for the cancellation of the education program.



"ENACTED IN CONTRAVENTION OF THE CONSTITUTION"



In a written statement issued by the Atatürkist Thought Association, the following statements were made: "The education program named "Turkey Century Education Model" introduced by Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin and approved on 27.06.2024, which was enacted in contravention of Article 42, Paragraph 3 of the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey, which states that "Education and instruction shall be conducted under the supervision and control of the State in accordance with the principles and reforms of Atatürk, contemporary science and education principles," a criminal complaint was filed by the Atatürkist Thought Association Headquarters on 20.06.2024 with the Republic Prosecutor's Office, and subsequently a lawsuit was filed with the Council of State on 24.06.2024 for the cancellation of the education program.



In addition, the 340 branches and members affiliated with the Atatürkist Thought Association Headquarters filed press releases and criminal complaints against Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin with the Chief Public Prosecutors' Offices in their respective provinces and districts on 28.06.2024."



"MINISTER TEKIN WILL RESIGN" CLAIM



Meanwhile, while the allegations that Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca submitted his resignation to President Erdoğan continue, it is being discussed that three more ministers in the Cabinet will leave their positions. It is said that Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, and Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan will also resign from their duties.
