A dead body was found in a house in Mersin, where a foul smell was coming from.

The body of 64-year-old İrfan Öztürk was found in an apartment in the Toroslar district of Mersin, following a report of a foul smell.

When a foul smell started emanating from an apartment on the second floor of a 3-story building on 212th Street in Tozkoparan Neighborhood, residents in the neighboring apartments reported it to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Health, police, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene upon receiving the report.

ELDERLY MAN'S BODY FOUND IN THE APARTMENT

With the assistance of the fire department, the teams entered the apartment and discovered the lifeless body of İrfan Öztürk, who lived alone. Öztürk's body was sent to the forensic medicine institution to determine the cause of death.
