A jet ski loaded with explosives was found on the Istanbul Çatalca Coast. Lifeguards noticed the jet ski and informed the gendarmerie teams. It is estimated that the jet ski, which was found to have drifted to the shore, belongs to the Ukrainian navy.

A jetski loaded with explosive material, believed to belong to the Ukrainian navy, was found on the coast of Istanbul Çatalca Beach.

In the morning hours, lifeguards on duty noticed a jetski on Çatalca Akalan Mahallesi Beach. When they approached it, they realized that its equipment was different and informed the gendarmerie. The teams arrived at the scene and conducted examinations on the jetski.

DOZENS OF EXPLOSIVE MATERIALS FOUND ON IT

According to the initial examinations, it is believed that the jetski, which is thought to belong to the Ukrainian navy, drifted and reached Istanbul Çatalca Beach. It was also determined that there were explosive materials inside the jetski. After the initial examinations were completed, the watercraft will be taken to a military inspection point for forensic examination.

Multiple cameras, military equipment, and explosive materials were found on the jetski. Footage recorded by citizens shows the jetski being dragged on the sea.
