While there is fluctuation in Brent crude oil prices, the prices of gasoline and diesel are also varying with news of discounts and increases. As of midnight tonight, a discount of 1 lira 50 kuruş is expected for the liter price of diesel. With the decrease in prices, the liter of diesel will be sold for 41 lira 67 kuruş in Istanbul and 42 lira 17 kuruş in Ankara.

People continue to monitor gasoline and diesel prices with the changes in Brent oil prices and exchange rates.

DISCOUNT EXPECTED TONIGHT

It is expected that there will be a reduction of 1 lira 50 kuruş in diesel prices starting from midnight tonight, and with the discount that will be reflected at the pump, the price per liter of diesel in Istanbul will be 41 lira 67 kuruş, and in Ankara it will be 42 lira 17 kuruş.

HOW ARE FUEL PRICES CALCULATED?

Fuel prices are calculated by refineries based on the average of processed product prices in the Mediterranean market, including Turkey, and changes in the dollar exchange rate. As a result of this calculation, the prices applied by distribution companies can vary slightly depending on competition and freedom, companies, and cities.

EPGİS HAD DECIDED NOT TO ANNOUNCE PRICE CHANGES

After the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) filed a criminal complaint against EPGİS, the only union that announces price changes, the union announced that it will not share the changes in fuel prices with the public until the end of the legal process.
