A doctor caught with 28 kilograms of drugs in the Yüksekova district of Hakkari has been arrested.
28 KILOS OF DRUGS FOUND IN VEHICLE
In a statement from the Hakkari Provincial Police Department, it was reported that during operations conducted yesterday by the Anti-Narcotics Branch Directorate to prevent the manufacture and trafficking of narcotic or stimulant substances, 14 kilograms of methamphetamine in 13 pieces, 7.1 kilograms of heroin in 14 pieces, 3 kilograms of powdered cannabis in 4 pieces, and 4.1 kilograms of skunk substance in 9 pieces were seized from a vehicle.
DOCTOR ARRESTED
In the operation, a total of 28.2 kilograms of narcotic substances in 40 pieces were confiscated, while Z.A.Ö., who was caught in the vehicle, was arrested and sent to prison by judicial authorities after police procedures. It was learned that the arrested individual is a doctor.
