A few hours after the Israeli Foreign Minister met with Assad, a critical visit to Turkey.

As the clashes between the army and the jihadist groups led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) have continued since November 27, it has been claimed that the Syrian National Army (SNA), which operates alongside HTS, has taken control of the center of Tel Rifaat following attacks targeting the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the People's Protection Units (YPG). According to data shared by the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), the death toll in Idlib and Aleppo has exceeded 400 since November 27.

While the clashes continue in Syria, a critical visit took place in Turkey. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who met with Syrian President Assad, came to Turkey a few hours later and met with Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. After the meeting, Foreign Minister Fidan held a joint press conference in Ankara with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

"THE U.S. AND ISRAEL BEHIND TERRORIST GROUPS IN SYRIA"

After his meeting with his counterpart, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made a striking statement. "According to the information we have obtained, the terrorist groups operating in Syria have close relations and coordination with America and the Zionist regime (Israel)," said Araghchi, continuing his remarks as follows:

"We declare our full support for the Syrian government and people. We believe that there is a relationship between Zionism and the activities of terrorist organizations. It is wrong to ignore Israel's destabilizing actions in the region, including Syria."

MET WITH ASSAD IN DAMASCUS

Before his visit to Turkey, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held diplomatic contacts in the capital, Damascus. According to the Syrian state news agency SANA, Araghchi met with Syrian President Bashar Assad there. Araghchi stated that the situation in Syria is difficult, but like in the past, the Assad government will successfully assert itself against the 'rebels.'
