A fire that broke out in agricultural land in the Dikili district spread to the forest due to the wind. The fire is being fought from the air and the ground.

In the Dikili district of İzmir, a fire broke out in agricultural land and spread to the forest. Air and ground interventions are being made.

According to the information received, the fire started for an undetermined reason in the agricultural land in Demirtaş Neighborhood.

THE FIRE SPREAD TO THE FORESTED AREA DUE TO THE WIND

Four planes, one helicopter, 14 water tankers, four water supply vehicles, one bulldozer, and one ground team from the İzmir Regional Directorate of Forestry have been dispatched to the area. The teams' intervention in the fire is ongoing.
