A former commissioner, B.U., who has a confirmed prison sentence of 6 years and 3 months for being a member of FETÖ, was captured in an operation conducted in Ankara. B.U., who had been on the run for a year, was found hiding in a secret compartment in the Etimesgut district by teams monitoring the messaging application he used on his phone.

Teams from the Ankara Police Department's Organized Crime Unit determined that the former commissioner B.U., who had been on the run for a year, was in the Etimesgut district.

In an operation carried out at the address identified by the teams monitoring the messaging application on his phone, B.U., who has a confirmed prison sentence of 6 years and 3 months, was found hiding in a secret compartment.
