The owner of Çeşme's famous beach MOMO, Burak Beşer, married Ece Akbulut in 2020. However, the couple divorced amicably last year at the Beykoz Family Court. Later, Ece Akbulut Beşer stated that she learned her ex-husband had cheated on her during their marriage, and she appealed the amicable divorce decision, taking the case to the Court of Appeals. VIDEOS OF INFIDELITY IN THE FILEThe Court of Appeals found Ece Akbulut Beşer justified and annulled the amicable divorce decision. Following this, Ece Akbulut Beşer applied to the Istanbul Family Court to file a contested divorce case. According to a report on Oda TV, it was claimed that Burak Beşer lived in the same house with a woman named P.Ö. and introduced her to his family and close friends. It was also alleged that Beşer stayed with the same woman in Athens in 2023 and in America in 2024, attended parties together, and was on the same flight back to Istanbul. Videos and photos supporting these claims were also included in the file. STATEMENT FROM THE LAWYEREce Akbulut Beşer, through her lawyer Osman Hacıbekiroğlu, stated in her petition: "The client has experienced deep sorrow due to her husband's acts of infidelity and extramarital relationship, her womanhood pride has been hurt, and her reputation has been damaged. The breakdown of the marriage union is not due to any fault of the client. The events leading to the divorce stem from Burak Beşer's wrongful actions." The petition also stated that a total compensation request of 100 million lira, consisting of 50 million lira in material damages and 50 million lira in moral damages, was made, along with a request for a monthly alimony of 400,000 lira for Ece Akbulut Beşer.
