Demirtaş stated that municipalities, AFAD, State Hydraulic Works, and public institutions have taken action, saying, "There is currently a body, but we think it is probably an old body. In other words, it may belong to someone who was previously missing, not a body caused by the flood or rain, but the crime scene investigation is still ongoing. It is too early to say anything about this." Demirtaş stated that the damage assessment studies in the city are still ongoing and will be shared with the public when they are completed.
