A man in the USA stole the severed leg of a person who lost their life in a train accident.

An incident that deeply shook people occurred in the state of California, United States. A 27-year-old man who took the severed leg of a person who died in a train accident was apprehended by law enforcement.

The incident took place near the Amtrak train station in Wasco on Friday morning. The unfortunate person who was hit by the train died at the scene and their body was torn apart. After the accident, an eyewitness reported to the police in horror that a man had taken the severed leg from the ground.

Video footage taken from the scene and rapidly spread on social media shows the suspect walking on the side of the road with the severed leg. In the footage, the man first smells the leg, then starts walking on the road and waves the leg he is holding towards the camera. Shortly after, the police teams arrived at the scene upon receiving a report and surrounded and arrested the suspect.

The suspect, named Resendo Tellez, was arrested for collecting evidence from the scene and for other crimes he had previously committed. Tellez is expected to appear in court in the coming days.

According to local media sources, it was reported that this is the second similar incident this year. After another train accident, an unidentified person had come to a homeless shelter with a severed human hand. This situation astonished the authorities and the community.
