One person lost their life and 12 others were injured in an accident that occurred when a passenger minibus overturned on the Diyarbakır-Bingöl highway.
The accident took place in the afternoon on the Diyarbakır-Bingöl highway. The passenger minibus with the license plate 06 EJH 704, whose driver's name has not yet been learned, lost control and overturned by the roadside.
TEAMS WERE DISPATCHED
Following the accident, health, AFAD, fire brigade, gendarmerie, and police teams were directed to the scene upon the notification of those nearby. The injured individuals trapped in the vehicle were rescued by the teams' efforts.
INJURED PERSONS WERE TAKEN TO HOSPITAL
After the initial intervention at the scene, the injured were transferred to hospitals in the city center. The body of the person who lost their life in the accident was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution's morgue for autopsy procedures.
