A municipal bus crashed into the garden of a shopping center in Izmir: 1 injured.

In the Bayraklı district of İzmir, a municipal bus flew into the garden of a shopping mall after crashing through concrete barriers. The bus driver was injured in the accident, while a part of the shopping mall's wall was damaged. The incident occurred late at night in the Refik Şevket İnce neighborhood. According to reports, the municipal bus with license plate 35 R 0877, driven by Erhan Y. (37), flew into the shopping center's garden after the driver lost control of the steering wheel.

BUS DRIVER INJURED

In the accident, the bus driver Erhan Y. was injured, and damage occurred to both the municipal bus and the wall of the shopping mall. Citizens in the vicinity who witnessed the accident reported the situation to health and police teams. Upon notification, the health teams arrived and took Erhan Y. to the Ege University Medical Faculty Hospital by ambulance. While Erhan Y. is receiving treatment at the hospital, the municipal bus that flew into the shopping mall's garden was removed after the necessary work was completed. The police have launched an investigation into the accident.
