With the "gold kiosk" system launched in Kocaeli, citizens can order gold by selecting products and grammage without going to a jeweler. The purchased physical gold is sent directly to the specified address via insured cargo.
A new option has been added to the habit of buying gold to wear at events such as weddings and civil ceremonies. With the "gold kiosk" application introduced in Kocaeli, citizens can place orders by specifying the product and grammage they want on the kiosk screen.
HOW DOES THE GOLD KIOSK WORK?
In the system, users select the gold product and grammage they want to purchase via the kiosk. It was stated that after the order is completed, the purchased physical gold is delivered to the address specified by the customer via insured cargo with the trust label of the Istanbul Jewelers' Chamber.
The application aims to eliminate the obligation for people, especially those who buy gold before weddings and civil ceremonies, to obtain the physical gold in advance and carry it with them.
"WE SELECT THE PRODUCT FROM WHERE WE ARE"
The system's developer, Ecem Karaman, stated that the application provides a solution to the problem of carrying gold, especially at weddings. Karaman said, "Today, when going to a wedding, we buy our gold in advance and carry it in our pocket. With the kiosk, we enable the gold to be physically sent to the address you specify by selecting the product and grammage from where we are."
IT WILL ALSO BE INSTALLED IN WEDDING HALLS, HOTELS, AND AIRPORTS
It is planned to spread the application, which started in Kocaeli, to different points in the future. It is aimed to place the kiosks of the system in areas where gold shopping may be needed, such as wedding halls, hotels, and airports.
Thus, it is aimed for citizens to place gold orders from their current location and receive the physical product later at the address they specify.
