Turkish Airlines (THY) will implement a facial recognition system to shorten the lengthy boarding process.



BIOMETRIC TRAVEL SYSTEM



The Biometric travel system was first tested on THY flights at Boston and Miami airports. The new system will be used for the first time in Turkey at the airports in Istanbul and Izmir.



WILL SPEED UP BY 50%



As part of the project, manual processes that were previously performed before boarding will now be carried out using the facial recognition system. THY aims to increase boarding speed by 50% through this application.
