In the state of Michigan, USA, 23-year-old Charles Robinson, who was not allowed to board a Spirit Airlines flight due to being late, took revenge for not being able to board the plane by making a false bomb threat. After missing his flight from Detroit, Robinson had an argument with airline officials.

A 23-year-old man named Charles Robinson, who was not allowed to board a Spirit Airlines flight in Michigan, USA, due to being late, made a false bomb threat to take revenge for not being able to board the plane. The incident was confirmed by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Michigan.

After missing Spirit Airlines flight 2145, which was scheduled to depart from Detroit, Robinson had an argument with airline officials. He was informed by the staff that he would not be allowed on the plane and that he needed to rebook his ticket. Around 6:45 AM, Robinson caused a major panic by making a bomb threat regarding the flight he missed.

According to the prosecutor's statement, Robinson did not only stop at making a false bomb threat; he also misled law enforcement by providing a detailed description of a fictitious bomber. While passengers on the plane were evacuated, a thorough search was conducted on the aircraft and its surroundings with bomb detection dogs. Fortunately, no explosives were found.

U.S. Attorney Jerome F. Gorgon Jr. stated in a press release regarding the incident, "No American wants to hear the words 'bomb' and 'plane' in the same sentence. Such threats undermine our sense of security and waste the resources of law enforcement."

The FBI arrested Robinson at the airport while he was attempting to board another flight to Los Angeles. A criminal case has been filed against Robinson, who resides in Monroe, Michigan, for making a false bomb threat.

According to the prosecutor, during the threat, Robinson said, "Someone will try to blow up this flight (2145)." He even stated, "This person will try to get the bomb through the TSA checkpoint. They say it can't be detected. Please do not allow this plane to take off."
