A person who jumped onto the tracks in Marmaray lost their life.

A person jumped onto the tracks at the Marmaray Ayrılık Çeşmesi Station and lost their life. Due to the incident, there were disruptions in the services. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

At around 11:10 AM, an incident occurred at the Marmaray Ayrılık Çeşmesi Station, where a person waiting at the station jumped in front of a train heading towards Gebze. Upon notification, police, medical, and fire teams were dispatched to the scene. Medical teams confirmed that the person who jumped onto the tracks had lost their life, and the body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution.

FLIGHTS HAVE RETURNED TO NORMAL

After the removal of the Marmaray, which had its front window broken, services returned to normal. In a statement made on Marmaray's social media account regarding the incident, it was stated, "Due to a tragic incident that occurred at Marmaray Ayrılık Çeşmesi Station at 11:10 AM, our services are continuing with delays."
