In the investigations related to the murder of Ayşe Tokyaz, the number of arrests has risen to 9. A police officer identified as I.U.U., who is reported to be on active duty, has also been detained. After processing at the police station, I.U.U. was referred to the courthouse.

After being murdered in Küçükçekmece, Istanbul, the university student Ayşe Tokyaz (22), whose body was found in a suitcase by the roadside in Eyüpsultan, had her boyfriend, former police officer Cemil Koç, and 6 other suspects arrested and sent to prison.

A police officer identified as I.U.U., who was reported to be on active duty, was also taken into custody. After processing at the police station, I.U.U. was referred to the courthouse. Thus, the number of arrests related to the murder of Ayşe Tokyaz has risen to 9.

CEMİL KOÇ'S ACCOMPLICE HAS ALSO BEEN CAPTURED

Following the murder, the suspect Oğuz K. (55), who was determined to have assisted Cemil Koç in removing the suitcase from the house and transporting it by car, was taken into custody. It was learned that Oğuz K. has 20 criminal records. After processing at the Gayrettepe Public Order Branch, Oğuz K. was referred to the courthouse.
