In Bursa, police officer Bilal Keskin lost his life in an accident while delivering breast milk to his 5-day-old baby. The accident occurred in the Osmangazi district, where Keskin, a riot police officer, lost control of his vehicle and crashed into an electric pole. Keskin was taken to the hospital by the medical teams dispatched to the scene, but despite all efforts, he could not be saved.
In BURSA, police officer Bilal Keskin (29), who was injured in an accident while bringing breast milk to his 5-day-old baby in the hospital, has lost his life. The accident occurred around 07:30 on Yunuseli Boulevard in the central Osmangazi district. Bilal Keskin, a police officer working in the Bursa Police Department's Riot Police Branch, crashed his car with license plate 16 HR 993 into an electricity pole after losing control while bringing breast milk to his baby, who was born 5 days ago and was hospitalized in a private hospital. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene following reports from drivers who witnessed the incident. After the initial intervention by health personnel, the injured Keskin was taken by ambulance to the nearby Çekirge State Hospital.
DESPITE ALL DOCTORS' INTERVENTIONS, HE COULD NOT BE SAVED
Keskin could not be saved despite all interventions at the hospital. A funeral ceremony was held for Bilal Keskin, whose autopsy was performed at the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institution, at the Provincial Police Department. Emotional moments were experienced during the ceremony attended by Provincial Police Chief Sabit Akın Zaimoğlu, deputy chiefs, branch managers, and police officers. The police officer's body was sent to his hometown, Kemaliye Neighborhood in the Güce district of Giresun, for burial.
Meanwhile, the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into the accident.
