After the evacuation crisis at CHP Headquarters, Özgür Özel, who said 'We left the office to those who want it' and carried out a 6.5-kilometer protest march towards the Turkish Grand National Assembly, was greeted with applause by an enthusiastic crowd and members of parliament at the Parliament. Following his statement 'Our new office is our group room in the Turkish Grand National Assembly,' party officials wasted no time and hung the 'CHP Chairman' sign on Özel's working room in Parliament, sending a message to Kılıçdaroğlu.
After the evacuation crisis at CHP Headquarters, Özgür Özel, who launched a 6.5-kilometer protest march to Parliament saying "We left the office to those curious and intolerant," arrived at the Turkish Grand National Assembly. Accompanied by tens of thousands, after the march he was greeted with applause by an enthusiastic crowd and lawmakers in parliament, and a "CHP Chairman" sign was promptly hung on the door of the room he will use.

Following the police intervention, Özgür Özel, who left the headquarters building and addressed the crowd by climbing onto a TOMA that blocked the march route, gave the new era's struggle instructions. Emphasizing that belief, not buildings, is important, Özel stated: "We stood firm there until we were about to take our last breath, then we left. We left a headquarters behind because for a political party's success, not buildings but determination and resolve are needed. We walk with that determination and resolve. One office is left behind, we left it to those curious. But there is another in Parliament. From now on, the real headquarters of the Republican People's Party is the group room and group hall in the Turkish Grand National Assembly. We had a total of 83 offices; we left one to the intolerant. But another is a legacy from Atatürk, and now we are going there. From Edirne to Kars, our 81 provincial directorates are now our headquarters."
"CHAIRMAN" SIGN HUNG ON THE ROOM IN THE TBMM
After the gathering at Milli Egemenlik Park, Özgür Özel entered the Parliament building, greeted with applause and slogans by CHP lawmakers, party members, and parliamentary staff. Immediately after Özel's statement, "Our new office is our group room in Parliament," busy moments unfolded on the CHP Group Chairmanship floor in the main TBMM building. Officials officially hung a sign reading "CHP Chairman Özgür Özel" on the room where Özel will conduct his work. This move became an indication that the leadership struggle between Kılıçdaroğlu and Özel will continue.
