A striking statement from CHP's Tanrıkulu: The perpetrator of Narin's death and the reason for it are unclear.

In the case regarding the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran in Diyarbakır, the court sentenced mother Yüksel Güran, uncle Salim Güran, and brother Enes Güran to aggravated life imprisonment, while Nevzat Bahtiyar was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison.

CHP'S TANRIKULU: THE PERPETRATOR AND CAUSE OF DEATH REMAIN UNKNOWN

CHP Diyarbakır Deputy Sezgin Tanrıkulu made a statement on social media regarding the concluded case of the murder of Narin Güran.

Stating that the questions of who the perpetrator is and why Narin was killed remain unanswered, Tanrıkulu said, "From the moment I learned that our daughter Narin was missing, I made efforts to reach her body primarily with the hope of finding her alive. Unfortunately, the lifeless body of our daughter Narin was found, and with this development, an indictment was prepared for the separation of the files of the 4 detained suspects in the ongoing investigation. Unfortunately, at the end of the judicial process that began with the acceptance of this indictment by the Diyarbakır 8th High Criminal Court, as I have stated throughout the process, the questions of who the perpetrator is and why Narin was killed could not be answered."

Tanrıkulu also stated, "The ruling given today is not a final ruling; because there are appeal and Supreme Court stages. The main point that should not be forgotten or overlooked is that the investigation process regarding the detained/non-detained suspects is still ongoing. Therefore, until the answers to the questions 'Who killed Narin?' and 'Why was Narin killed?' are found in the ongoing investigation process, we will continue to follow up for true justice."
